Remember those days well. That's why we got out of Dodge. Watching CNN, and Tom Skilling on WGN. (He used to be the weather guy on Witi TV channel 6 in Milwaukee) Chicago had 20.2 inches of snow. Stay warm.
Pretty much the same here. Winter wonderland my ass!! We had 50+ mph winds. It sounded like sleet hitting the windows. Our house is open to the northeast which is where all the bad storms come in from. Morgan our older dog must have a huge bladder because she refused to go outside. Jesse on the other hand didn't care. I had to pick up a sparrow off the ground that was freezing up and put him in a box for the night till the weather let up to keep him alive. He flew away happily this morning.
I couldn't just stand there and watch him prepare to die, which he was. We are all God's creatures and if I could save one sparrow then I couldn't do nothing. The next day when I released him he flew away with a full belly and I'm sure very happy to be out of that box.
